Dance

Dance is the expression of ideas & emotions, movement of the entire body to rhythm or music and a release of energy. It is an art that gives joy, be it folk, western, bollywood, native to any culture or simply body movements and actions, just for fun’s sake. Children are given frequent opportunities to dance and perform during activities, celebrations and functions. It is a weekly regimen as well.


Ball Pool

There are certain activities that are very close your heart during childhood, one of them being playing with balls. We take our children to our very own ball pool where they enjoy playing around many colourful balls.

 

Skating

Children eagerly await their weekly skating lessons at Springles so that they may put on their skates and have wheels under their feet to whiz around in fun and frolic. It is a great exercise to burn off extra energy, build stronger muscles and the perfect distraction from everyday worries.

 

Sand Play

This sensory activity not only promotes the physical development of children as they pour, sift,, scoop and build with their sand play tools by improving their small muscle and large muscle skills but also helps to better their eye – hand coordination, creativity, focus and social skills. The Springles Sand Pit keeps the toddlers busy and active in this popular activity and that is something they want to do all day long!

 

Water Play

Young children love to explore with their Senses and water play is  another activity for some learning, enjoyment & exploration. The pool area is a welcome emotional therapy and the children take  to the pool, like a fish takes to the water.


Story Telling

Stories are a fascinating medium of education; developing speech skills, entertaining and instilling moral values. They love to listen and participate actively in the puppet shows, get engrossed in watching them on the smart board & enjoy the flash card versions as well. Their imagination soars and they start to narrate as well.


Competitions

In order to bring out the hidden talents of the young children and to give wings to their ability to create & inovate, we encourage healthy competion amongst them. Their skills shine in colouring, recitation, clay moulding and self expression through fancy dress competitions. The preschoolers abilities to communicate via different mediums also highly increases.


Dramatization & Role Play

Assumption of a role or character on stage to deliver dialogues, give short speeches, enact skits, mimes and other performances in front of a large audience not only removes hesitation & stage fright, but also improves peer group interaction and fosters social skills. We, at Springles provide our children a supported environment for this purpose by organizing regular functions and activities in order to give the children an excellent platform to demonstrate their talents.


Puppet Show & Monkey Shows

Children are fascinated by the puppet shows and the soft educational toys used as an excellent teaching medium. Children can be taught many things with their help. Regular interactive sessions are held, keeping this purpose in mind and the young ones are all too eager to try a hand at it themselves.


Drawing, Colouring & Craft Work

Colours, art & craft are sensory activities that spark a child’s artistic imagination and help the budding artists to express themselves in a more creative way. The Springles team recognizes and incorporates it as an essential learning aid that improves your child’s concentration as well as  intellectual and cognitive development. 


Nature Walk

Taking Nature Walks with preschoolers is like going on a journey of discovery! Hearing the rustling of  the leaves, the chirping of birds and various insect and animal sounds, collecting leaves, feathers and stones a scrap book or a collection, helps to learn about and know the world around them. The ‘ordinary’ things we have long stopped seeing around us, are like magic to them. Their fascination is evident in their wide eyes.  It is a pleasure worth re – living & re – experiencing, all over again… nothing can be more wonderful or more perfect than this mutual connect with Mother Nature.


Clay Moulding

A fun activity that enables children to show their creative talents, it develops motor skills, helps with creative problem solving and learning through sensory stimulation and tactile perception, an expression of ideas and a vent for emotions. Children make numbers, letters, animals, veggies, fruits, insects and candies as the day rolls on…


Educational Trips

Regular monthly Feild Trips are organized and conducted to provide an exposure which is very important to balance the taught concepts with the practical environment and  the  activities going on around us. It is vital for thechildren to understand how things work in real life. The children visit the fire station, railway station, post office,the Gurudwara, the Temple,etc. 


Group Games &  Activities

Games are a good way to develop a sense of empathy, emotional intelligence, intellectual & creative skills and build upon existing eye – hand coordination and dexterity, all of which is needed in school and for future careers. Group team work activities teach them to collaborate in a better way with their peers, elemental to success and leadership in their lives.


Milk Day

Milk Day Provides an opportunity to focus our attention on Milk and to raise awareness related to the significance of this dairy product and the variety obtained from it. Children undersand the importance of drinking milk and contribution towards a healthy diet and a healthy body. Children love to dress up as Milkmen and serve fodder to cows & buffaloes in the Springles ‘shed’. Children relish their favourite chilled milk flavours together and are encouraged to drink milk for stronger bones and teeth.


Yoga Day

Yoga Day is a connect with friends and the community. It is a postutate and investment – physical, mental, spiritual & emotional for a better lifestyle, better health and a better existence. It is a ‘celebration’, which appreciates & validates this ‘way of life’ that originated in our own country.


Earth Day

Earth Day is the world’s largest environmental movement and recognizing how important it is now, more than ever before, also knowing that these tender hands today, will shape the future of this planet tomorrow, the entire mankind and all life that exists on it. It is upto us today, to increase this awareness and environmental consciousness, for we as a school and an educational institute are the torch bearers and shape their minds, lives & futures. Our Springles kids participate in environment friendly and Earth awareness activities.
